A Rustic and Romantic Wedding
Brittany & Marcus
When Brittany met Marcus, she knew he was the one. In fact, he was the first guy she had ever dated.... The day she toured Agua Linda, she was certain about her wedding location, too and booked that very day! Marcus was not here but he trusted her decision. I am always nervous when clients book without seeing the venue first (though, no one has ever been disappointed!) so when I finally met the groom - a week or so before the wedding, (AHHH!!!) - I was very moved by his reaction. There may have been a tear shed... by a few of us... I thought it was very telling that 1. She knew he would love it here and, 2. He trusted her to make this big decision!

I asked Brittany what her favorite part of her wedding was -
"For us we had a few favorite parts… obviously the first being that first walk back down the aisle as husband and wife! Just thinking "yes we finally made it!" But then our next favorite would have to be our reception… with the amazing DJ and delicious food and laughs with all of our favorite people in such a beautiful venue just felt so special!! And we love how we had such a private wedding. 60+ acres was amazing!"
Well, I have to share my own favorite part... The officiant for their wedding was Brittany's former grade school teacher! I am a former 2nd grade teacher myself and was very touched when I heard about Linda and how much she meant to Brittany but I was more moved that day as I saw her former teacher helping the family decorate for the reception! It meant a lot to Linda that everything would be just how Brittany imagined - gotta love teachers!
Brittany did a lot of the decorations herself with the help of her bridesmaids. Instead of numbering their tables, the couple named each one after a favorite singer - so cute!
"Our theme was a mixture of simple rustic and modern and we used a lot of wood, white, gray and blush pink. We wanted to make everything look simple yet cute. Lots of DIY’s were done but so worth the time spent."
When I asked Brittany if there were any other highlights she had to share she said,
"I would 100% recommend EVERYONE to have their wedding at Agua Linda Farm! Between the easy process, friendly staff, quick responses, music, cute lighting and just the beautiful venue. It really couldn’t have been any better! Plus the something borrowed shed is just the cutest idea!! If we ever have a vow renewal it will for sure be there!" (I just had to share that answer!)
Good luck Britany and Marcus with your new residential painting business, Hustle and Roll and your future together! Thanks again for choosing Agua Linda Farm - it was truly a pleasure being a part of the day with you!
